La Plata Softball will be in Cairo this weekend. First game is at 8:30 am. Come out and support the Lady Bulldogs!
The La Plata RootEd Department took 21 juniors and seniors to the Build My Future career exploration event in Macon, MO, on September 19. Students explored hands-on careers in welding, heavy equipment, electrical work, concrete production, core sampling, and more. Construction professionals, employers, colleges, and training programs were on-site to answer questions and share career opportunities.
IT IS TIME FOR PINK OUT!!!! See order form attached- orders are due by October 6th! Forms are available in the office and EL students will bring order forms home in their folders!

Girls golf at Schuyler has been postponed and will now be Friday 9/18 at 9 am.
These kids had a great time at Little Dribblers Basketball camp hosted by JH Basketball!

LaPlata girls took 2nd at tonight’s meet losing to Macon by 1 stroke. Putnam County and Atlanta were also competing in the meet.

Freshman Karmyn Jennings was 8th overall!
Junior Dawsyn Hudson was 11th overall!
Senior Claire Belfield was 15th overall!

Lady Bulldogs Softball Varsity dropped a tough one last night to Schuyler County (3-17) but came back and got them in the JV innngs (3-2).
Bulldog Baseball dropped both the Varsity game (1-12) and JV game (3-4).
Both teams will be back in action at HOME on Thursday 9/3. The softball game will start at 5 pm with baseball to follow.
