La Plata Board of Education meeting is rescheduled to Tuesday, June 16th at 6:30pm.

The Board of Education meeting scheduled for tonight is canceled due to weather. It will be rescheduled for a later date.

Jr High GIRLS Basketball open gym on Monday is from 4-5:30 and Tuesday from 5:30-7. Our first Shootout is Thursday at Atlanta.

Girls High School Open Gym on Monday, June 1 from 5:30-7. Tuesday will be from 4-5:30. Our first Shootout is June 10th and 11th in Atlanta. More details soon.

If there is anyone you know of that might want to play, please give them this information.

JH is incoming 6th-incoming 8th grade. And HS is incoming 9th-12.

Here is the junior high boys basketball June schedule--there are some changes from what was previously sent home. Girls schedule is listed on our district calendar-more updates to come!

Reminder: Today is the last day of school! We will dismiss at 12:35pm. Elementary car rider line will begin at 12:15pm. The first day of school after summer break is August 25th. Have a wonderful summer!!!!

Due to high demand, we will be finishing up ice cream orders in the morning for any student that brought money and did not get to purchase today. Frosted Flamingo will also be open to the public tonight until 8pm.

Spread the word---our Bulldogs are playing Wednesday-5/20 for the district championship! Join us at 6pm. LP Students get in for FREE if they are dressed in the student theme attire--construction gear and hard hats! WE ARE BUILDING CHAMPIONS! Thank you to L-Club for sponsoring and paying student admissions!

Our Bulldogs played a great game tonight vs Brashear. Up next-tomorrow (Wed) vs Atlanta for the District Championship. Way to go Bulldogs!

Guess what--we are STILL playing tonight! If you are a La Plata R-II School District student and you are dressed up in the theme (neon), then you get in for free! L-club is sponsoring tonight by letting students in that are dressed in the theme attire! Thank you, LClub!

BASEBALL: NO JV Innings tonight at Knox!

Just a reminder that our school will host a FREE SPORTS Physical Day (May 14th-1pm-4pm) for all students (currently) 5th grade-11th grade interested in sports/activities next year. Activities include track, baseball, softball, golf, marching band, basketball, cheer, and more. Each student must have a current physical on file (within 2 years) to be able to participate.
