ROLLA, Mo. — Truman State University beat Missouri S&T 25-14, 25-18, and 25-23 in volleyball Friday at Gibson Arena.
Laci Neece, of Truman State, had 16 kills on .500 hitting, two aces, three blocks, and seven digs. Tori Creason, of Truman State, had 38 assists, one ace, and three blocks. Autumn Erickson, of Truman State, had 10 kills on .533 hitting, one ace, and four blocks. Jessie Julius, of Truman State, had eight kills, one ace, and 11 digs. Avery Poppe, of Truman State, had 11 digs. Adalyn Galbraith, of Truman State, had five kills and three blocks. Neece, of Truman State, finished with 19.5 points.
Elly Decker, of Missouri S&T, had 11 kills and one ace. Kate Zipprich, of Missouri S&T, had five kills. Danielle Wilke, of Missouri S&T, had four kills and two blocks. Maggie Miller, of Missouri S&T, had 14 assists and one ace. Kaitlyn Brady, of Missouri S&T, had 12 assists, one ace, and seven digs. Adelyn Weiler, of Missouri S&T, had 12 digs. Madison Smith, of Missouri S&T, had three blocks.
Truman State hit .362 to Missouri S&T's .123 and finished with 43 kills to 29, five aces to three, seven blocks to five, and 47 digs to 35.
Attendance was 138.
Truman State is 5-6 and 1-0 in the Great Lakes Valley Conference. Missouri S&T is 7-5 and 0-1.
