Community assistance center: household items, clothing, kitchen wares, bedding. Free self-improvement groups. Bible studies. Disaster assistance.

Provides food for Central and Northeast Missouri families. Buddy Pack program for elementary students.

Items donated by community members. Clothing, household items, furniture, etc. Donations accepted.

Food pantry serving La Plata and surrounding areas.

Accepting clothing and shoes only. Please limit drop-offs to these items.

Monthly food distribution 3rd Tuesday 12–6pm. Emergency food pantry: Mon/Wed/Fri 10am–12pm, Tue/Thu 1–3pm.

Provides meals to senior citizens and disabled individuals with a suggested donation of $5 for anyone over 60 and $8.15 for anyone under age 60. Home delivery available for ages 60+ in city limits of Macon, Bevier, and Callao.

Sends out monthly food baskets including farm raised pork products, produce, canned goods and household staples. $10 yearly membership fee and $22 per month. Pick up on 3rd Tuesday of each month.

Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program. Apply through Macon County Division of Family Services.

Lunches available through donations of local community organizations and churches. Under the age of 18. Contact local churches or schools for exact dates and locations.

Accepts public donations of useful household goods and clothing. Sells used household goods and clothing at generally low prices.

Nutrition assistance for pregnant women, new mothers, infants, and children up to age 5. Contact Macon County Health Department.
