Lewis beat Truman State University 25-19, 25-17, and 25-17 in volleyball Saturday at Pershing Arena in a Great Lakes Valley Conference match.
Laci Neece, of Truman State, had 12 kills on .216 hitting and seven digs. Autumn Erickson, of Truman State, had 10 kills on .318 hitting, eight digs, and one ace. Tori Creason, of Truman State, had 29 assists, seven digs, and one ace. Addy Janssen, of Truman State, had 10 digs. Jessie Julius, of Truman State, had two kills and seven digs. Adalyn Galbraith, of Truman State, had two kills and one block. Lily Porter, of Truman State, had two kills. Elise Gibson, of Truman State, had two kills. Avery Poppe, of Truman State, had six digs. Ella Diercks, of Truman State, had one kill.
Caroline Impey, of Lewis, had 12 kills. Sarah Newberry, of Lewis, had 11 kills. Lauren Buxton, of Lewis, had nine kills and one block. Grace Malek, of Lewis, had 18 assists, 10 digs, and two aces. Elena Gubera, of Lewis, had 18 digs. Rachel Kaczorowski, of Lewis, had 14 assists and 13 digs. Kynzie Lilly, of Lewis, had four aces. Ann-Kelly Velikov, of Lewis, had five kills and three blocks. Hannah Dietzenbach, of Lewis, had five kills and two blocks.
Lewis hit .266 to Truman State's .122 and finished with 42 kills to 31, eight aces to two, six blocks to one, 55 digs to 47, and 56 points to 34. Lewis had 39 assists to Truman State's 30.
