Clark County (1-0) beat La Plata (0-1) 28-0 at 5 p.m. Thursday in the varsity softball opener at Kahoka.
The Missouri State High School Activities Association posted the final. MaxPreps posted a line score Thursday night.
Clark County scored 10 runs in the first inning and 18 in the second, according to the MaxPreps line score. Clark County had 19 hits and no errors. La Plata had two hits and eight errors and batted three innings before the game ended.
La Plata is listed Saturday in the Putnam County Varsity Softball Tournament, according to the MSHSAA schedule.
