The La Plata Community Fire Protection District has received $4,000 in grant funding from MFA Incorporated and the MFA Oil Foundation, with each organization contributing $2,000.
The money will fund rope, water, and ice rescue equipment. The new gear expands what LCFPD can respond to and ensures crews have the proper safety equipment for each type of rescue operation.
The district thanks MFA Incorporated and MFA Oil for their continued support of fire departments across Missouri.
