Attention grades 5-12 parents/guardians,
Next week our students have the chance to engage in the Lifeline program. Lifeline’s school program (formerly known as Pure Freedom) is a relationship education program for 5th through 12th grade students. The goal is to help students understand what real love is, how to set healthy boundaries in relationships both physically and digitally, how to identify abuse, how the human body works, and ultimately how valuable they are. Their certified educators have thousands of hours of classroom experience. See attached copy of the form that was sent home. Please contact Ms. Taylor, district counselor, with any questions! Attached is more information and an OPT-OUT only form!

Reminder, elementary fundraiser packets and money (checks made out to La Plata R-II) are due back WEDNESDAY, MARCH 11TH! Don't forget to spin the coin prize wheel online if you created an online account by March 11th as well.

Mark you calendar--all is welcome! The All-Conference Band tour will take place on Tuesday, March 10 starting at La Plata High School at 9:00 am sharp (this includes HS band).
The schedule will be as follows: La Plata—9 am—Bevier—10:45 am—and New Cambria at 1:15 pm.
Our students have worked hard and the performance will be one you won't want to miss! Hope you can make it at LHS at 9am in the HS gym!

Beware rodeo stars will be born during the wild and crazy “Dairyland Donkey” basketball show at La Plata High School!
🏀 🫏 It’s basketball played on real, live donkeys and it will be wilder than a rodeo and funnier than a circus! All local riders will be riding, so come out and see someone you know try to ride a donkey and play basketball at the same time.

*TUESDAY is the last day that we can collect and award prize coupons for sales. After Tuesday, we are no longer able to take and award prize coupons. Don't forget to keep track of your coins online to spin for prizes if you are doing the online portal. You can can keep earning coins until the fundraiser ends.
*There are lots of items other than cookie dough for sale on the online order link for people to purchase. Check it out!
* All money and order forms are due back by March 11th. Please make checks out to La Plata R-II.

Friday Night basketball is going to be a HUGE night! The tip off is at 6pm vs Green City. Seniors will be recognized between games. Bulldog Fans get in for FREE at the gate (sponsored by Bulldog Backers). Then, at halftime of the BOYS game, Student Council will be doing a Chuck-A-Duck fundraiser. Buy a duck for $4 or 3 for $10 for a chance to win some $$$$$! Last, but not least, our LHS Cheerleaders hosted cheer camp this week and they will be performing at the halftime of the girls game!!! LET'S GO BULLDOGS! The games and activities will be live streamed on our YouTube Channel: La Plata R-II if you can't make it!
